Herald.ie article from the 28th November
THE ever industrious Keith Duffy has just wrapped filming on his first ever sci-fi film which he is hoping might open up his talents to the US market.
The former Boyzone star (38) returned from Bulgaria earlier this month having finished shooting the TV film for US Syfy Channel.
"Yeah, It's all a bit in the air but I just finished filming in Bulgaria," Keith told the Diary.
"The weird thing about doing any film like that is you can never tell what it looks like until it's done because you're in front of green screens the whole time. It was good fun, the mum from ET, Dee Wallace, is also in it."

Keith's 6th Annual Masquerade ball took place at the weekend (1st December) at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Powerscourt, Co Wicklow.
With Grainne Seoige as MC, the fundraiser generated over €100,000 for charity Irish Autism Action and Saplings School in Rathfarnham.
Entertainment was provided by singer Jack L, and impersonator Mario Rosenstock, who was entertaining rather than mimicking an audience of VIPs, which included solicitor Gerald Kean, former Miss World Rosanna Davison, model Glenda Gilson, Today FM's Matt Cooper, and Newstalk presenter Norah Casey.
Speaking at Saturday's event, Duffy, who attended with his wife Lisa and son Jay, said: "I am absolutely delighted with the success of the ball. In these difficult times to raise this amount of money is incredible.
"The funds will help to provide children and parents affected by autism with the support they truly deserve.''

The weekend just gone was busy one for Keith - after jetting back from Australia, Saturday saw him present the Childline Concert in Dublin alongside Glenda Gilson and Sunday, he attended the Mad Men Charity Ball in Manchester, in aid of Hearts and Minds Challenge & Irish Autism Action. A selection of photos of both events can be seen below and a few more have been added to our facebook page.
